Mission Statement : Providing safe, structured, affordable housing for persons in recovery from the disease of addiction, giving them the opportunity to rebuild their lives safe, structured, affordable housing for to become the people God called them to be.
Nehemiah Sober Living is a christian 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization designed to provide safe sober houseing to men and women in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We are governed by a board of directors who are active in the ministry and have a heart for persons suffering from the disease of addiction.
Our Story
Nehemiah Sober Living Inc. was founded by Linda and Michael Diver as a result of the pain of watching their son try to navigate the difficult road to recovery. They felt called to open Nehemiah's first sober home to provide structured christian living in a location with access to public transportation. The organization grew into a 501 (c) 3 non profit and also opened a thrift store named "The Second Coming " at 301 Park Ave, Stroudsburg PA to support the organization

The Second Coming Thrift Store is located at 301 Park Ave Stroudsburg, PA 18360 We are open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm every day except Sunday. All proceeds help support our sober living houses for men and women. We gladly accept donations of clothing, jewelry, vintage items, records, taxidermy, small appliances, household items, art work, musical instruments, Christmas items and so much more!!!
